Biography:

Grant Hill recorded in 1959 at Kearney Barton's Northwest Recording Studio, 622 Union Street,. Seattle, “She’s Going Away b/w Lookin’ For A Girl”. He played the guitar, and Bud Busha played the organ. The backup vocals were provided by The Shalimars from Olympia, Washington. This group consisted of Sandi Ballant, Carolyn Berner, and Dorna Kiepke.

Sherry Lee, a very sweet 15 year old, and her mother were Al Hazan's neighbors. She wanted to become a singer so Al recorded her on two of his songs, "Count Ten" and "The Unwritten Law" for Rendezvous Records.
