Biography:
The Sperlings were formed by producer and lead singer Jesse Osborne in
1966. Their first single -- a cover version of Marvin Gaye’s “Mo Jo Hannah” -- became
quickly a local hit. Afterwards The Sperlings released a punchy sequel to their
hit with “Dance (Holes In Your Soles)”. The record got airplay but did not
break through as their last had.
